Belvoir Castle crowns Countryside Borders winner

The winner of the Countryside Borders competition, sponsored by the London College of Garden Design has been announced as Katy Watson. Katy also won the People’s Vote at the Belvoir Castle Flower & Garden Show with her design for a planted border that can support wild birds in our gardens by helping them forage for themselves and to improve biodiversity in our gardens (pictured).

The winner of the award given by horticultural professionals at the show went to Charlotte Hastings and Michelle MacDonald won the Duchess’ trophy for her ‘Rural Retreat’ garden.
