LCGD Graduates win SGD Awards
At the recent 9th annual awards show for the Society of Garden Designers (SGD) Awards 2021, Students, Graduates, and Directors from the London College of Garden Design (LCGD) walked away with not just the Student Awards but other garden awards as well.
In the Student design categories, LCGD Students Laura Potten and Lyndan Brewer accepted awards. Laura was the overall winner in the Student Design – Commercial category (pictured), and Lyndan won the Student Design – Domestic Award. In addition, Alberto Caffi, received commendations for his Domestic design, and Harry Holding for the Special Environmental Award in the Commercial category.
Graduate Sheila Jack received the Fresh Designer of the Year award, Tabitha Rigden and Helen Saunders won Paper Landscape Design, and Graduate Alice Ferguson also won three awards with Jamie Innes of Artisan Landscapes. LCGD Director Andrew Wilson and LCGD Tutor Gavin McWilliam won the award for Large residential landscapes and gardens.
We are once again delighted that LCGD Graduates have been so successful in securing awards in the early stages of their careers.
