The Perennial Lifeline Garden featured a classical rose garden reimagined as a more sustainable and low maintenance ‘rose meadow’. Within this rose meadow, was a modern interpretation of a classical colonnade created by freestanding metal screens, stone and topiary columns, and a pair of contemporary ‘fountains’. Multi-stem hornbeam trees added their sculptural form, framing views through the space.
The garden combined crisp modernist design alongside loose, naturalistic planting. The garden was awarded a Silver-Gilt medal.
