Reece Webster
Reece creates site-specific landscapes and gardens that respond to client needs whilst continually asking how the garden can be a space that facilitates a deeper connection with nature. Sustainability is a core principle of Reece’s design work and he is often interested in how the most subtle intervention can create a space of sophistication and emotional resonance.
Reece had been working as a gardener for several years before undertaking the Garden Design Diploma at London College of Garden Design, and loves to plant each of his gardens where possible.
He has an exceptional knowledge of plants and how they relate to their environment. Using this knowledge he seeks to create plantings that look good throughout the year with a minimum of intervention.
Biography:
Before following his passion for plants and gardens Reece worked in theatre for several years, having attended a prestigious acting conservatoire. He continues to compose for occasional theatre productions alongside his design work.

The client is a chef, who loves to work with hyper-seasonal foraged ingredients where possible. They wanted to share this cuisine with around 20-30 guests from their local community in the form of a monthly supper club, and provide space for some guests to stay the night too.
Spoil from the lake excavations were used to create two wildflower banks running through the land – the excavated chalk providing an excellent habitat for invertebrates and chalk grassland plants alike.
Much of the site is meadow, with fruit and nut producing trees spread in a natural seeming layout, and we paid close attention to the seeding of the meadows and woodlands in order to provide a rich mosaic of plants to forage from.
