About LCGD
Our garden design courses and the Garden Design Diploma led by James Aldridge have been created to enable students to learn from the very best in the profession every day. All our tutors are practising professionals and have the most up-to-date knowledge and information to support you in your chosen career, whether it is the one-year Garden Design Diploma, our six-month Planting Design Diploma, our certificates in Construction Design and in Plantsmanship or one of our short courses.

The London College of Garden Design one-year Garden Design Diploma, six-month Planting Design Diploma and Certificate in Plantsmanship classes take place in the Orangery conference facilities at the world famous Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Our on-going programme of short courses is also delivered from Kew, along with other venues in London and the South East.
We also regularly offer online and blended learning courses for continuing professional development such as our Construction Design Certificate. Make sure you have signed up for our newsletters so that you get priority enrolment opportunities.
Graduates are eligible for preferential rates on all our courses. Please contact our office for more information.
If you are interested in garden design but not as a career, we have partnered with The Royal Horticultural Society to offer courses on a range of garden subjects.
At The London College of Garden Design our aim is to provide world-class, inspirational garden design training.
